So searching on the net and found some headers for the regular 5.7 HEMI. They are not available yet but i guess they are in production. Here goes the link.

looks promising, but they are manifolds on the top of that list..and it says youll need to modify to accommodate the EGR.

Those are ported stock 6.1L manifolds, not a new header design. The outlet flanges are completely different than the stock 5.7 exhaust flanges, so they would require a complete mid pipe cat section as well.
The stock manifold is a log style and the exhaust flange is up too high for any aftermarket design to bolt up to. I am sure this is why none have been produced.

anyone know if the 6.1L oem manifold and mid pie section would work on the 5.7L? I'm assuming that all that would be required would be a stock 6.1 gasket, for going from smaller to larger openings should be o.k. and I think the bolts line up...

What do you guys think of this setup? It is currently on a 6.1, but may work on a 5.7...
Do you see any potential problems? I may be willing to test it out, but noticed that the drivers side pipes cross over and under the pan on the 6.1 in the pic vs the AR headers cross over before the pan and go around it. I'm not sure if I'd have a problem on the 5.7 or not. The connections are slip, so there would be some wiggle room durring install. Any input is greatly appreciated.

FYI, I just bit the bullet on a set of AR headers from Jet Hot...hands down the best place to order headers from, if you plan on having them coated. I got a smoke'n deal (better than my local vendor and AR themselves) and they upgraded my coating for free...SUPER competetive pricing. I'll let you all know how they turned out. AR is sending out the headers for those of us with 5.7s with 5.7L flanges, which should take care of the clearance issue found when using the 6.1L flanges. I had an extra bung added to the driver's side collector for my wideband.
I can't wait to get 'Operation Jeep Speed' finished, for I am having a Builder Bill's 4000 TQ, stage II valve body and certified flex plate (heads up for those of you who have been waiting for these items to become available for the 545RFE tranny) installed along with my new SRTMax cam, '09 Eagle intake manifold and headers. I just hope my transfer case holds up, lol! I'm not sure how the QDII is going to handle the extra power to the wheels...we'll see this coming season. I'm currently going through a pre-mid-life crisis, having the need for speed, lol!

what are the torque/power numbers that the drivetrain/axle/shaft/etc on these Jeep's limited to?

It shouldn't matter as the increase in power/torque is not that great. Its not like upgrading from a tactical missile to a tactical nuclear warhead. The difference will be noticeable but the entire drivetrain should handle it. It does on mine at least.

I would PM Mr. Mopar or Escape about those approximate numbers if you're curious.

As long as you don't spin the wheels

I can spin the heck out of all 4 of them from a brake-boosted launch. Stock GY run flats can hold it under launch at all. I have ordered the 275/315 Invo's and am awaiting the snow to go away so I can install.
The ELSD 7.9 Front Diff and the ELSD 8.3 Rear Diff have held up so far...we will see soon enough. The NV245 T-case will hold just about anything you can throw at it...but we will see this spring. I hope it holds. The 545RFE Trans is good to about 550-600 WHP. I will be upgrading in less than a month You will max out your stock fuel system before you can break either the Trans or T-case, so I'd say your safe with N/A or F/I, that is until you run out of fuel...This to is set to be upgraded in less than a month. I just ordered a set of custom headers from American Racing Headers also with no cats and a 3" to 3" Y to force feed the turbo.
