Default 5.7l wk supercharger or turbo?

Anyone know if there are any superchargers or turbos available yet for the 5.7's. I ve seen some for every other 5.7 but not a jeep. I wonder if the ones for the ram or the durangos with the hemi would work. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Madden...

A supercharger would definitely be sweet. Kenne Bell (sp?) did one for the 4.7L WJ, so maybe he will be working on one. Considering the overall cost, custom fabbing the pieces and having a super-exclusive setup would be worth it. $5000 for the supercharger is just for the kit, not including installation typically, right? So another $1000 on top for a custom setup, plus $1000 for install, and you'll have the fastest WK out there.

Just unlock your front driveshaft and lay down some ridiculous burnouts before you roast the rest of the pack.

I would do it myself for sure to save the money plus it would be fun tearing it apart and knowing i did the work that stomps everything i choose to eat on the road. But id be willing to bet that the kits they have for the durango would bolt on given a couple of mods. We'll see after i find 5000 to dump into it.

Well, if you have the ability to install something like that, more power to you. If you feel like the typical weekend warrior and think, "how hard can it be," take it to a shop. It's always better to blame someone else and have them pay for the repair rather than try it yourself, fail, and pay out the nose for the proper repairs, installs, and whatever parts you destroyed in the process.

But, as I said, if you can, then giddyup.

What kind of gains would you expect from a 330 HP 5.7L V8?

Yeah i feel you on that note. I wont dare to touch it if i didnt know what i was getting into. But I have a good friend that owns a shop so he'd help.
Horsepower i think would be anywhere from 50 to 100 not a 100% though. But still thats alot of bolt on power if all went well.
