Default Supercharged Jeep

Well If you guys haven't noticed I am all about power. I want a SRT8 but that will come later. At the track last friday I ran a 13.9 in the 1/4 at 4500#. I since have added a progressive Meth controller, waiting on SCT for some updates, and I am also going to run more BOOST!!!!! It should be here end of this week or begining of next week. I think I will have some belt slip issues I will have to work through and I will probably blow it up but I will find out shortly.

I also raced 2 different mustangs the other day. We never got to really roll hard but I'll just say they both rolled down their windows and were shocked a Jeep could even try to hang. LOL

Well my blower pulley started to rub inside of my hood and bubbled the paint about the size of a dime. Damn I guess I will have to chop my hood some more. Good thing Is I am going to a smaller pulley to make more boost so problem will likely move from rubbing my hood to throwing a piston through it!!!!

Yea it just started. there is getting to be too much flex under load. motor mounts may be getting weak.

My pontiac would do that but I did not want to run solid mounts. I just went to the Home Depot and picked up a chain and connected the it to the drivers side of the block to the frame leaving a small amount of slack. This allowed some flex for normal driving and as soon as you lay into it firmed right up and prevented it from twisting to the passengers side.

Cheap but effective!

I upgraded it to a "Turn Buckle" which allows me to adjust the slack..> Works great when I go to the track, I can preload it so there is no delay on the launch... It was worth about .10 apposed to nothing at all.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

I'll do solid mounts now. DO you know of any? I'll tell you what, if I actually blow it up.. I'll make one of the baddest 4.7's ever!!!!!!!!! People usually give up on this motor as soon as they can get into something else. I wold go to the SRT8 if I could but I'll make my own SRT. LOL

I'll get them when I can safely do so LOL. It will be a slow step up process to get the fuel right and to see what boost will actually be. It will be hairy because I'll have to turn my meth off which is my safety net under high boost. Will be interesting.

that's how he's cooling I believe, in order to see how much boost he can safely generate and use without blowing the guts out the bottom/top of the engine bay he must turn it off.

it's really being turned off to get the true Air/fuel set. Meth runs richer then gas so you can't tune with it running.
