been a while since i posted on here but i have a noise im trying to track down. i have a 2006 grand cherokee limited with the 5.7L, 4X2. The noise i am getting is coming from round abouts the passenger footwell, maybe a little higher. it only happens when the fan is on (AC or Heater).

the sound that im am hearing sounds kind of like the chopping of helicopter blades. it only happens for maybe a second at a time and when i turn the fan off it goes away. i dont seem to get a change in the sound when i swich direction that the air blows.

any idea what this could be? the only thing i can think of is the blower motor or the fan attached to it. i figured i would post up here before i tore into it blindly. any help is appreciated

thanks

I'm loving them! 18" Akita Racing AK-55 with some new tires as well. My old tires were totally done, so with the idea of getting new tires, I also decided to grab some rims!

At the moment I'm loving every minute of the overall look of my Jeep. However, I do have an idea. I might eventually try and blacken out the car. By that I mean going back to black parts, meaning no more chrome. I could get a set of black tail lights, paint the grille black and maybe do something with the nerf bars as well.

At this point I'm definitely not changing anything just yet, though - just enjoying what's new.

This radio is a "Like New" unit that was only hooked up in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee to insure it worked properly. It is a Factory refurbished unit that was restored to as "New" condition. It was upgraded with the better control knob that were a problem in some older radios. I will include the Owners Manual and the Factory Navigation disc. It also has a navigation disc installed now that lets your passenger input information as the vehicle is moving, as the factory one makes the car come to a complete stop before you can enter addresses and such. These sell for $2000 plus from the dealer. This would make a great upgrade to you vehicle and is a direct plugin to most models. You would just need to purchase a GPS antenna and proper trim bezel for your application. These can be found on Ebay or your local salvage yard. If you have any questions email me. Description of radio below. Asking $600 shipped. Thanks....Tony

Hey Family just installed a new set of Halo and just wanted to share what I found out about my setup.

So First you have to think of what setup you want. Most Halo Projector pretty much come with the same wire 1 set for the LEDs (either on the top row or the side marker area). 2nd The HALO wires.

Black Inner Turn Signal to Black Ground Wire Halo & LED Ground
Black w/ Pink (Minor) Parking Light to HALO Positive Power (RED)
Green (Major) to LED Positive Power (WHITE)

So this setup described is for Corner LEDS for Turn Signals & HALO on w/ Parking Lights. LOW Beams and HIGH Beam installation just plug into stock headlight sockets. I will post pixs tomorrow.
