anyone with the 4.7 with intake here there whistle when there on and off the gas? i havent recieved mine yet and i was just wondering

Not really a whistle, but it almost sounds like some sort of intake leak, or the motor just gasping for air. In the morning, it really gets loud until it idles down. Sounds VERY sweet under hard throttle!!!!!!!!

oh really? but u can hear a difference correct? my buddies got a 5.9 and it whistles its sooo sick

A whistle like that probably means there's a leak somewhere that air is getting in. That's not choice. Opt for no whistle and a solid system.

incorrect. the whistle is normal. thats the air getting sucked into the MAF screen or something like that.

ya his being a 5.9 the air is rammed directly into the throttle body and thats what makes the wistle

ya so i get a call this morning... ur intake is still out of stock, we will not be recieveing our shipment of them till the 31st... were sorry about this problem... i have been allready waiting a week and a half.. no another 3? shiiiit this suucks
