Yes yes I know there a few posts on exhausts but it all seems mostly about Grand Cherokees. If I wanted to do a complete exhaust, who has the best one and which one would sound the best on a Cherokee? Any ideas or takers?

I would stick with Magnaflow and get their stainless CAT-back.
Here is the part number for a 1999 Cherokee w/4.0L I6: 15856. It retails for about $564.63

I can get it for you for $343.90 shipped. Send me a U2U and I'll tell you where to order it.

Me personally I love the Borla sound, they are more, but i just cant get over the sound. Plus, magnaflow's sometimes resonate pretty bad in the cabin. But the choice is completely yours.

www.borla.com , they only have sounds for 3 vehicles on there home page, right in the middle. I dono why I havent heard any borla's on Jeeps, but nobody likes the sound apparently. Im working on clips from other sites, but I dono what it would sound like on an I-6 either. But im just throwing the idea out there the option is yours.

well besides borla I know of flowmaster and magnaflow..........if you had to choose between those two for a Jeep with an I-6, what do you think?

well he's got the flowmaster on his and it does sound nice, but its almost a little too loud at idle (maybe I'm wrong). the guys I talked to at the shops seemed to recommend magnaflow over anything, atleast for my Jeep. Its a tough call, but I won't be getting the exhaust any time soon so I've got plenty of time for more input and thought. I do like the sound of the borla, especially on the new Grand Cherokee, however I went to Borla's website and they didn't seem to have an exhaust for mine. I appreciate all of the input. Anybody have any thoughts on flowmaster, Dynomax or anybody else?

hahahahah good ol' Dynomax, well on that site you can hear what it sounds like on your I-6! Its an ok sound on some engines... and for 130 bucks for a whole system... im tempted myself, but I think im just going to do a borla muffler, instead of system, since you dont get much gains from new parts after the headers, its not worth my money for a whole system w/o headers...

Thats what I have and I love it, but the cops around my job in southgate don't like it as much. It makes my 4.0 come to life.

That sounds nice at idle, all you have is an exhaust tip and the flowmaster 40 series muffler? I hate to keep asking, but how about a clip revving the engine or a drive by. I just want to get a good idea of how it sounds all around.
