I am aware that K&N has just released a FIPK for those of us with the 4.7L; however, I can't wait unitl AIRRAID releases a Cold Air Intake, tube, and throttle body spacer.

I don't know if anyone has seen an AIRRAID system in person, but the quality of materials and workmanship are far superior to that of K&N.

What makes a cold air intake what it is, and what makes it differ from a FIPK? Because as far as I know, the WK has a vent starting at the grille, drawing in air into the airbox which in turn is pulled through the filter and into the tube, and reaching the engine. So what makes it different from a cold air, or is it a CAI already?

Has anyone considered or installed the Mopar Cold Air Intake ?

the tube installs upside down (so is the emblem) - someone 'round here's (or JU) has it..

AIRRAID's FIPK is still in R&D. K&N has a kit out. Still waiting, at least after the tax refund comes back I will order the Magnaflow exhasut.

I really wanted a Borla exhaust, but they are not on the bandwagon yet for the 4.7L.

I had a Borla on my 4.3L S10 and it was a little too loud for my taste. Now that I think about it a little, it could've just been the tone of the V6 that I didn't like. I Dunno.
