i raed a while back about a company that made the ecu reflash... whats everyones thoughts on the jet chip stage 2 vs that reflash?

personally the thing about the chip is, is that, thats the software. Just the chip. When you permeantly change the software in the ECU you void the waranty, and once something is screwed up with the ECU hard wired memory your done. If you have a problem with the JET chip you just unplug it and your back to normal. The flashing like hypertech is just bad voodoo. The dealer is even scared to flash it with their software let alone someone else's. lol Personal opinion for about the same price get the JET chip stage-2 and believe me you wont be disappointed.

A flash consists of a company analyzing all the code in the computer, learning the algorithms, and altering them from there. If you can afford to buy a second one (occasionally on eBay) you can have that one flashed and then have a stocker and a modded ECU.
Some people say the JET chip is "learned" by the computer and it adjusts for the altered specs so it can be back to normal. I only had mine in a month or so, so I don't know about the learning curve.
B&G Chrysler does flashes, and KRC Performance too, I think.
