Tonight I was on I-96 checking out my truck's performance and I found out that I shaved almost 3 sec off my 0-60 from stock. When I got the truck it was going 0-60 in almost 11sec, now its 8 sec flat. I would love to race a ZJ with the 5.2L V8 to see how I compare to it. I know that 8sec isn't fast but seeing as where I was from, that’s not too bad. Sometime this spring I’m going to go to the track to see my 1/4 mile times. I didn't really check the time until about 2 nights ago when I was racing the 2nd body style of the ford taurus sho and won. :pablo: I'm going to post updated pics of my car tomorrow when its daytime. All of my mods is in my signature, do anyone know what else to do to get more HP out of it, with out spending a ton of money into it. Oh yeah my top speed is still 117mph :(

3 seconds of your 0-60 with an exhaust and JET chip? Hmm... Don't know if that's exactly accurate. Your stock 0-60 was probably more like 9.1 seconds, and maybe you've shaved it to 8, which is still doubtful, because that means 4.7L V8's are only .5 seconds quicker to 60. Probably more driver than car with the SHO.

I got more than that, I have to update my signature. That website don't give you any real hope, I put in the numbers and to them I should be going 0-60 in about 7.5 sec, that site don't take in the fact of transmission ratios, rear end ratios, and wheel size which all plays a big part in 0-60 times. To really find out about my time I want to race a 5.2L ZJ, not a 4.7L WK. my estimated numbers have my engine pumping out 220hp which is right in line with the 5.2L, so by me racing one, (that’s in good shape) that would give me a good understanding on were I'm really at so I can stop playing the guessing game with my engine.

this seems fishy I had a ford taurus sho and that car hauled ass, your estimated hp and time seem way off but then again iam no expert

Just have it dyno'd. No guessing games, no gauging it by yourself, no competing against an "equally equipped" vehicle. It'll be about $100 for three or four runs and you can finally figure it out.

good suggestion I had my camaro dyno'd twice before , I paid 75$ for 3 runs

The problem with a dyno is that your actual HP is going to be less than factory rating.
So you pay the $50 or so and then you get to say you have less HP than you supposedly had before. Woohoo!

I would nickname those headlights "Purple Nurples." Haha.
Dynos are good because you get the wheel horsepower, as opposed to flywheel, and then bragging about how much power you lose in the drivetrain. Some good synthetics would free some of that up.

my light isn't that blue, its just in the photo that make it look like I have dark blue lights on there. The light out put is every nice, I just need to retrofit them then I'll be in business.

Yea I wish that I know a place to dyno it. I already put mobil 1 in there so i'm good on the synthetic part. I just won 24 quarts of it from mobil, ha ha

Do you know where Jackson, MI, is? Another forum says there's a good place there. Supposedly it's on the southeast side. I don't know if that helps you; I have no idea how far that is.

That's true, the Dash Hawk gets the job done. I would like to buy one of those, but I'm wondering how clean the install could be. It needs to plug in to the OBDII port, right, or is it just like all the other accelerometers where all you need is a power source? The WK has so many little hiding spots, I'd like to fill one up.

For all the info that thing gives you I think you probably have to at least plug it into OBDII, if not make other connections.
