Well it sounds like you've narrowed it down. K&N intake, some muffler, and you're good.
How much are you looking to spend? Any budget?

like 400$

Muffler and intake should tap that $400 out. Go for those two.

Whats the difference between the K&N 63 series and the 77 series intakes???? Besides the not polished and polished????

i have the 77 series its louder i would say cuz of the metal tube, the metal tube is not a polish finish its a hyper silver paint. I powdercoated my intake which was the polish finish red

The plastic one supposedly gives you one or two more horsepower due to better heat dissipation.
IMO if you're spending $250 for 8 hp you might as well get the one that gives you 9hp.
But if you like to show off your engine, maybe the steel one is the way to go.
I think if your engine is factory the plastic one would go better. Might look a little odd with one big piece of stainless in a sea of black plastic.
But, to each his own....

i kinda agree with that... my engine will pretty much stay factory minus an the intake and maybe a jet stage2 chip but that would be to the extent... maybe a supercharger in the future

Just so you know, the I6 and V6 are two totally different beasts. His sound isn't going to give you any idea of what yours may sound like.

ModernStapler

Giantthreat, you have a 4.0L I6, or Inline-6. If you pop the hood, you'll notice a really long cover on the engine, which will show you all 6 cylinders lined up. It's a tried-and-true engine with a lot of good parts out there.
The 3.7L V6 has only been put in the Grand Cherokees since 2005. It makes more HP, torque, and is supposed to be more fuel efficient.

its all opnion, but honestly if you dont abuse the I-6, it will run for probably 200,000K or more, the have made that engine for so long that im pretty sure they got it tweaked out by the time it got the WJ bill.
