The following system was put together piece by piece. After speaking with different representatives from, Corsa, Borla, Magnaflow, Trick Flow, Vortech, and Summit Racing, I have put together this system, and had all the components installed by American Muffler Shop here on Long Island, New York, as all my exhaust systems have been done by them and they seem to be the only ones who can put up with my pickyness. All of the piping is 2.5 inches to match the factory piping, in addition after looking at all the aftermarket kits for the 5.7 Hemi Jeeps, all kits use the 2.5 inch standard for the most efficient and power producing product.

The components are as follows. Two Borla Performance Pro XS Exhaust Tips, 2.5 inches in, 4 1/4 inches out. One, Hedman Hedders X-Treme X Pipe Junction. Two Magna Flow Race Series Performance Mufflers. Each piece required seperate installation, and each piece of pipe was bent to fit, so this exhaust system is one of a kind. I wanted to keep the pipes as straight as possible to gain as much power as possible, without any regard to noise levels.

The Installtion is as follows. The factory or aftermarkey exhaust system that I had made was removed directly behind the factory catalitic converters, then 2.5 inch piping was added into the X pipe. Then from the X pipe into two seperate mufflers, and directly out from the two mufflers to the rear of the bumper and to the twp tips. The X pipes generates an unbelievable amount of power and if you are looking to do a system I highly recomend using one. The entire setup after parts, labor, shipping, and tax cost $909.17. $500.00 for the installation and $409.17 for parts and shipping. I don't know the exact amount of horse power and or torque gained but the launch is unbelievable. A video is soon to come. Thanks again to the owners of this site for supporting our community. Looks good. You should get a B&G or KRC tune and really bring out those mods.

Why did you choose to go with 2.5" pipe when you have 3" headers?

becuase the cats are 2.5 and i used factory cats, so i took the 3 into 2.5 using a converter pipe piece i dont know what the hell they did, they took a piece of pipe and streched it out to fit to the headers then left the 2.5 end and welded it to the cats, this increases pressure and output. According to Borla techs.

That's weird... I never thought that Borla techs would recommend increasing pressure. The whole goal of an exhaust system is less restriction and backpressure.

Anyway, looks good! Much better than the pipe that you had set up, especially now with the Corsa tips.

First, you need to have some back pressure and balancing of the chambers so that you can burn the right amount of fuel and not push extra fumes back into the engine, i dont know the technicial aspects they recomended the equpiment and i got it they seem to be right, the torqu went WAY up and i assume the HP did as well. The tips are Borla not Corsa.
