Man... You and Unique. You gotta post pics of the SRT8 as soon as you get it!
Check out the HID system on http://www.oznium.com $234.99-$15(SJ Discount) + $2.95 shipping. You can't beat that! Check em out! It would be nice to support site sponsors, thanks!

Hey, a fellow Long Island boy... Very cool. Where are you on LI? I know Unique is Holbrook, so you must be in the area... I'm Islip.
Where did you get all this stuff from?
What did you cut that you could lose 600 lbs??
How much do you have invested?
Dyno'd yet?
How come half of it sounds like :bs:?

Ouch... Let's not get into a flame contest. But perhaps pics of any of these mods?

No, not like that, I'm not trying to start a problem, but a lot of that stuff is pretty intense, and since there's no "embellished" flag...
The system I can totally believe. I've seen the CarDomain pics, I watch "Unique Whips," I know their deal. And that sounds fantastic. Did you bulletproof your windows too, because that's a lot of pressure to be pushing around the cabin.
Nevertheless, the custom machined stuff and the custom parts just don't sound believable. Not one WK member has heard about parts for a WK, and unless you were the test model, the R&D couldn't have been done.
Plus, the SRT8 stuff is way far out, unless you swapped with your Cali car.
Which brings me to this: a turbo on a 6.1L HEMI? You should get a S/C. It's more reasonable for an engine of that caliber.

Two 10's is definetely nice for sound quality, but they're not gonna win any SPL competitions.
I had a couple JL 12s pounding away in my S10 pickup and that was measured somewhere over 130dB(Lost the paper years ago).
Certain frequencies hurt to sit in the truck. The entire thing was sound dampened, ceiling to floor.
The mirror was always vibrating itself down but no windows ever came close to breaking!

i have a bell jet ranger helicopter engine in my hemi overland. it puts out 2000 hp.
wanna check it out? pull up nice and tight behind me so i can melt that stupid grin off of your face.
:D
that's actually not as absurd as it sounds. jay leno hangs out at a local motorcycle cafe, and he routinely shows up in the tankrod (12 cylinder tank engined aluminum-bodied hotrod) or his J2000 motorcycle (bell jet ranger turbine engine). if you get too close to the bike, it will literally melt anything behind it.

Were they Gen 3 W7's that you had? 102 dB seems a little low; I would think he would be getting more than that. Maybe a bad meter... Anyway, those are hella powerful subs, I don't care how you slice it.
Also, this isn't an sql setup either. An Infinity Basslink and a set of tweeters are nice for sq. You don't get these to add a little bass to your AC/DC. These are to unsettle pavement.

First off the you must be an engineer or a mechanic cuz if your not i dont want advise on how to boost my cars. The turbo is more efficient in this case as the package gs motorsports is doing does not properlly address fuel issues, computer programming, or support. Contact peter at gs motorsports and hell explain why its a bad idea to supercharge the jeep and why its much more difficult. Next, Goto you local dealer get someone's srt-8 vin number and order the dam parts. Mabey no one knows about it cuz they dont do their homework or cant afford to spend the money. The post on db level was a mistake its a 142db according to reme but i dont know and cant test as I don't have a db meter and im not about to go running out so some hater can be proven wrong. I'm willing to help out anyone as much as possible, and I'll go above and beyond to get you resources, but dont hate on what you cant compete with.

As soon as I get it back from California I will make a seperate web site just for that truck. I will also list all manufacturers, installers, and information related to the turbo and intercooler setup as soon as it is available to me. I saw that HID web site one before and I am a little weary about the HIDs i dont know if its really worth it other than for the look. Sometimes they piss me off with the glare and all lol. Unique had a kit but it was 2200 bucks and didnt see worth it. I'm not sure what XXXXk level they were but he game me the price with a fog light kit or something installed balasts bulbs and everything.

Pump T.I.'s new single What You Know About Me on the system and the pressure, vibration, and sound is so loud it hurts the ears and the stomach if its up for to long. You were right it was 142 db according to Reme at Unique. But alass I'm not trying to compete this is an everyday driver.

Didn't mean to start a pissing match here. I couldn't care less how loud a system is anymore, I'm long out of high school.
The winner of the competition I went to had a professionally built SPL system consisting of two 15" PPI's and PPI competition amplifiers. He hit around 140 in an S10 Blazer.
With that said, two 10s wouldn't get anywhere near 140 in a similarly sized vehicle. But hey, I suppose there could have been some pretty serious advancements in car audio since I was real into it....

Videos. Excuse sound quality as I recorded it from my sony digital camera, not an actuall video camera and so forth. Requires quicktime or windows media player. May also take a min to load on cable / dsl as the files are very large.

Friends and I ran into a loser at the car show last weekend - had his poser C5 Vette w/ knock off Diablo's, complete w/ glued on Z06 rear vents, "DUB" sticker under the Corvette badge on the fenders and NOS bottle in the back. We asked him where the NOS injecter(s) were, and he said "it was a secret, that he doesn't show that to anyone, it's personal, yada yada" - his hood was open, and it was quite obvious that the NOS never made it up front - methinks it was an empty bottle bolted in there for looks instead. Not that this story has anything to do with anything.
Let's see some of the performance pics - especially want to se the 20s w/ SRT8 springs/shocks....

Looks like a lot of work, but why a Jeep? Why dont you buy a Hummer like the others? My thoughts, you ruined a nice jeep by putting this crap on it.

I guess it's lucky you're not driving it. Car enthusiasm is all about making it your own and making it suit you. If a Jeep is where his personalization started, then so be it.

Hey Onehothemi, Where did you get the SRT stocks and springs, Was this a easy bolt on or did you have to modify the suspensionfor it to work. You have done a lot of great mods what are your new HP numbers .

That's quite a start. I would love to get a project car, something like a VW GTI or a WRX, but I don't have much time. I plan on working a lot over the summer, and the funds aren't there to pick up a $5,000 car and put $7,000-10,000 into it.
