I purchased and installed the entire Air Air Intake System in my 5.7 and then cut the bottom of the air box open, took the snorkle out of the bottom of the box, and cut off the snorkle front piece in the grill so now I have max air flow other than a ram air hood system. The snorkle in the grill now is the tube going straight into the box and to the filter which is escentially a ram air. I get a huge whomp noise and it sounds like a cude when i accelerate and big hp gains I attached a pic of the intake and i will attach pics of the snorkle modification at a later date. Water and debris are not a problem as the filter cone is high up and can grain thru the holes i cut in the box if any. Took offroad, and in the snow and rain no problem or error codes. I would estimate 15 to 25 hp gain at least big time performance in my opinion for a few minitues of cutting.
