Too loud....help

Hello All,

So I ordered a magnaflow Cat Back for my 4.7. I was hoping for some performance improvements, but I was wishing that is was not going to be as loud as it is.

I also ordered a K&N CAI....from reading it suggests that the CAI is going to be louder then the CAT system?

Is this true.... as I am going to have to remove the Cat system... should I even attempt to add the CAI?

Not too loud for me... but the wife and child will not be happy.

Also it is so loud that it effects uconnect conversations? They thought I was passing wind during the call.... not too good for a buisness call.


So...may have a magnaflow for 4.7/3.7 up for sale. Love the performance, just doesn't work for the lifestyle.

Wow, that is a surprise. I have the 5.7 magnaflow catback, and you basicly only hear it coming up though the gears with a heavy foot.
As far as the Uconnect, it is as all speaker phone systems are........never as good as an actual ear piece.

Hey what will you want for it? Will it fit a 2005 v-6?

Yes it will fit a V6 3.7 or the 4.7 I am in toronto Canada so if someone in the area is lookiing for a system with less then 20K on it.
